Brilliant Victory for Red Star FC Against Grenoble at Stade des Alpes

par Johann Macq

Red Star FC secured a 3-0 win over Grenoble at the Stade des Alpes, bouncing back after their poor performance against Troyes.

After a disappointing match against league leaders Troyes in the previous round, Red Star FC returned in style with a commanding 3-0 victory on Grenoble’s turf at the Stade des Alpes. This performance highlights the team’s solidity this season and helps the players regain confidence and rhythm ahead of the rest of the championship.

The match quickly turned in favor of the visitors. In the 28th minute, Cabral opened the scoring following a precise cross from Durand, giving Red Star a well-deserved lead. The second half saw Grenoble further complicate their task with the sending-off of Lélé Diba at the hour mark for a rough foul. With eleven against ten, Red Star sealed the deal: Trani doubled the lead in the 73rd minute, before Benali confirmed the victory with a penalty in the 87th minute. A clear, indisputable win, achieved with authority and almost effortlessly.

Fans Celebrate 18 Years of Friendship Between Ultras

Off the pitch, this trip to the Stade des Alpes was also an opportunity to celebrate a strong friendship between supporters. The ultras of both clubs mark 18 years of fraternal relations. Around 150 members of the Red Star Fans group made the trip to celebrate the occasion.

With this victory, Red Star FC bounces back and sends a clear message to its rivals: despite the recent defeat against Troyes, the team remains a serious contender this season and is determined to continue its positive momentum.
