Paris FC held at home
Paris FC could not maintain their momentum at home on Sunday, January 25. At Stade Jean-Bouin, against SCO Angers, the Parisians had to settle for a 0-0 draw. Despite several clear chances, PFC never managed to break through Angers’ defense.
The capital club hit the post in the 86th minute with a shot from Koleosho, while Allevinah saw the crossbar deny Angers in the 73rd. This draw represents a setback for Paris FC, who are struggling to string together home victories after their wins against PSG in the French Cup and FC Nantes (1-2) at La Beaujoire. The Parisian squad is still searching for stability on their own ground.
PSG wins narrowly but regains top spot in Ligue 1
Paris Saint-Germain, meanwhile, struggled to secure a win on AJ Auxerre’s turf. The only goal came in the 79th minute, scored by Barcola.
This hard-fought victory allows PSG to capitalize on Lens’ defeat to Marseille (3-1) and reclaim the top spot in Ligue 1.
